Nashik: Two unidentified motorcycle-borne youth looted a Igatpur-based trader and decamped with his bag containing Rs50,000 cash, police said today.

The incident occurred last night, when the trader identified as Biharilal Chandak reached his bungalow on the Igatpuri-Talegaon highway, they said.

According to police, the youth came on a motorcycle, fired in air and snatched the bag and fled taking advantage of the darkness.

Police have registered a case and are investigating further.
