A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping into a well in Nagaon village near here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Bhagyashri Baban Karande, a class tenth student in Nagaon High School took the extreme step, they said.
The girl was missing since Sunday morning and her body found yesterday, police said adding the reason behind the suicide is not yet known.
