Suspected Bangladeshi national arrested in Nashik

Mohammed Abdul Gani Mohammed Shahar Ali was nabbed by Air Force authorities yesterday when he was found moving in the restricted area, and handed over to the local police.

A 45-year-old man, suspected to be from Bangladesh, was arrested after he was found moving around suspiciously in Air Force area in Nashik, police said today.

Mohammed Abdul Gani Mohammed Shahar Ali was nabbed by Air Force authorities yesterday when he was found moving in the restricted area, and handed over to the local police.

Based on a complaint lodged by Air Force officials we have arrested Ali, police said, adding he is suspected to be a Bangladeshi national.

Further investigation was in progress.
