Low-cost carrier SpiceJet will launch services from Nanded to Aurangabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram from April 19.
SpiceJet would be offering affordable air connectivity from the holy city of Nanded in Central Maharashtra to the four destinations, the Chennai-based airline's CEO, Neil Raymond Mills, said here today.
Pilgrims from across the world visit Sachkhand Gurudwara at Nanded and the air connectivity would be a boost for travellers flying to Marathwada region, he said.
"It is a step forward in our endeavour to connect more and more Tier-II and Tier-III cities as we see high potential of growth from these areas."
Four flights would be operated per week - on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - and Boeing aircraft would be deployed on these routes, Mills said.
Claiming that ticket prices have been kept very low, he said bookings have already started.
