An Ahmedabad-bound SpiceJet flight from Goa with over 170 passengers on board was today diverted to Mumbai airport due to a medical emergency.
"There was a medical emergency on flight SG 806 heading to Ahmedabad and medical assistance has been provided to a passenger on landing," Spicejet spokesperson said in a statement here.
There were over 170 passengers on board and the flight has already taken off for its destination, the spokesperson said without divulging further details.
