As the world turns rapidly into a global village, knowing a foreign language has become not just a choice, but a necessity.

Keeping this in mind, the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies and Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE), in collaboration with the Spanish Consulate, inaugurated the Spanish Teaching Centre under the SIMSREE School of Foreign Language initiative. The event took place on Tuesday, February 7, in the presence of the vice chancellor of Mumbai University, Dr. Rajan Welukar, and Antonio Bullón Camarasa, Consul General, Consulate General of Spain.

Stating that Spanish was the second largely spoken language in the world after English, Camarasa said, “The three-month diploma course will start after some final agreements are made.”
