Shiv Sena today alleged there was a conspiracy to shift Mumbai dockyard citing the recent chlorine gas leakage as an excuse, and warned that the party would not allow it to happen.
"Citing the gas leak as a reason, Maharashtra transport minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has written to the Centre to shift the dockyard out of Mumbai," Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray said in a statement in Mumbai.
There is a conspiracy to shift the Mumbai dockyard and give the land for builders, Uddhav said. Shiv Sena will strongly oppose any such move, he said.
