Sena pushes for MP’s expulsion

The Shiv Sena is waiting eagerly for Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar to decide on a letter given by its MPs to terminate Anand Paranjpe from the Lok Sabha.

Before the civic polls, Paranjpe had shared the dais with NCP president Sharad Pawar in a press conference. He had criticised the Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray for neglecting him.

Sena MPs have said that Paranjpe was involved in anti-party activities and he should be terminated from his post as an MP from Kalyan LS constituency.  Anil Desai, Sena secretary, said that after the speaker accepts the request and terminates him from Lok Sabha, the party will throw him out.
