Rental apartments will come up in Thane, Raigad

The MMRDA plans to deliver two lakh houses in the city after having sanctioned location clearance for 34,63,720 sq metres of land. The 1,99,529 rental units will come up in Raigad and Thane districts.

Of the 22 proposals approved by MMRDA, the Thane Municipal Corporation has granted building permission to four developers at Majiwade, Panchpakhadi, Chitalsar-Manpada, and Naupada.

The Mira-Bhayandar and Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporations have also granted permission to a developer in Mahajanwadi and Shahad. The remaining 16 developers will also receive permission from the respective local bodies soon.
