Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s criticism of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has not gone down well with Uddhav. At an election rally in Kalyan, he told his estranged cousin to stop targeting his father.

“If you [Raj Thackeray] have any problem with me, attack me. But do not talk anything about my father. I am not the Arjun of Mahabharata, who stood in confusion at the warfront, seeing his brothers on the opposite side. It won’t be tolerated,” Uddhav said.

The Sena leader made sure that none of the allegations by Raj went unanswered. “He(Raj) said he did not have the power to choose even a block president. When you left Sena, you were the one who said, ‘I made a mistake by choosing him [Uddhav] as the executive president.’ And at the same time he says, he had changed the entire outlook of Nashik when he was in Sena. Can you please explain me this contradiction? Who gave you the power to do so many things?” Uddhav said.

The Sena leader also left a stern warning for Raj. “You say Shiv Sainiks are stones. If you say more about my father, these stones will charge at you,” he said.

“I never attacked Raj at personal level. But it seems Raj is the first devotee who has attacked the God himself. He has come out naked, for good. Now, people will know his reality,” he said.
