Chandrakant Dattatray Gundgal, 55, has moved the Pune district court against the deputy chief minister, Ajit Pawar, his wife Sunetra and 11 others, accusing them of “house trespass and criminal intimidation”.

In a private complaint lodged on Friday, Gundgal alleged that Pawar, his wife and 11 others had allegedly used his  land at Ghotawade village in Mulshi taluka of Pune district for constructing a road with the help of the Public Words Department (PWD).Gundgal also alleged  that Pawar allegedly threatened him of dire consequences if he approached the police or the court.

The court of the first class judicial magistrate, Umeshchandra More, granted the permission to admit the case.
Gundgal has demanded a probe in the case under sections 448(house-trespass), 427(mischief causing damage to the property), 506(criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.

Interestingly earlier too Gundgal had filed a private suit against Raghunath Nana Tapkir, for selling 26 gunthas of land owned by Gundgal.

Gundgal’s lawyer, Ranjit Thite had alleged Tapkir told the Pawars to take possession of Gundgal’s land claiming that the land belonged to him (Tapkir). But in reality the 26 gunthas belonged to Gundgal.“The Pawar couple encroached upon Gundgal’s 26 gunthas and constructed a wall, a water tank and cut trees and damaged the property,” Thite had alleged.

Gundgul pleaded before the court to make the Pawar couple a party to that case along with Tapkir and the court of civil judge SM Belkar had ordered on April 21 to make Ajit Pawar and his wife Sunetra Pawar party in that case.
