Pune civic polls 2012: RR Patil takes a dig at Munde, Kalmadi and Rane

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is the only party that can bring out positive changes if they get a majority in Pune as all the others are just into playing politics and not working for the people, claimed home minister, RR Patil at a rally at ward number 9 in Baner by the NCP.

Patil went on to criticise leaders like Gopinath Munde, Suresh Kalmadi, Narayan Rane and Patangrao Kadam.

Patil remarked that the BJP deputy leader in Lok Sabha, Gopinath Munde, is not able to manage his own household tussles. This is not the kind of leader that is needed for the nation today, he said.

“When leaders of the BJP are so cheap that they sit in the Lok Sabha and watch porn clips. This shows the kind of respect they have for women. Will such kind of a party support progress or keep demeaning the women of our country,” he said.

Patil criticised the way the Congress celebrated after Suresh Kalmadi was out of Tihar jail. “If such criminals are welcomed with crackers, I wonder what kind of patriotism he has been depicting.”
“This kind of loot will follow even if he is not on the dais. He will play cards from behind the scene and keep looting citizens if they bring them to power,” added Patil.
