A youth hanged himself from a pole below the Sambhaji Bridge on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Sagar Shedge (26), a resident of Bali village in Solapur district.The Deccan Gymkhanna police have registered a case of suicide.
Senior inspector Manohar Joshi of Deccan Gymkhana police station told DNA, “The deceased was identified due to his cellphone. Later, we informed his maternal uncle and he claimed his body. The deceased was working as a driver.’’
