President Pratibha Patil to visit Nagpur

President Pratibha Patil will arrive in the city for a three-day visit from February 5-7, official sources said today.

Patil will arrive in Nagpur on February 5 at 9.30pm in an IAF plane and will head directly to Raj Bhawan for rest, they said.

On February 6, she will attend the platinum jubilee function of the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) here in the morning and will also inaugurate the centenary celebrations of English daily The Hitavada later in the day.

The president will also pay a visit to the freedom fighter Shahid Shankar Mahalle memorial on February 7 morning and will then head back to the capital.
