The CST railway police arrested three employees of the pantry car of Howrah Mail on Saturday for allegedly beating up a railway constable.

The CST railway police arrested three employees of the pantry car of Howrah Mail on Saturday for allegedly beating up a railway constable.
“Praveen Gupta, 23, Vijay Gupta, 24, and Manish Medsingh, 25, were booked and remanded in police custody till January 31, by the CST railway court,” said senior inspector Dilip Mane. He added a manhunt has been launched to nab their manager Narendra Yadav.
The incident took place at 3.50am on platform no. 11. Two passengers lodged a complaint about the rude behaviour of the workers of the pantry car. Constable Eknath Mane went to verify the complaint but was beaten up by the three pantry car workers and their manager.
