Nurses strike enters fifth day in Yavatmal

Yavatmal: The strike called by nurses and health sevice employees today entered fifth day here.

The district unit members of State Nurses and Health Service Employees Union is on indefinite hunger strike protesting the alleged misbehaviour of a medical officer, Ashok Jaisinghpure, its General Secretary said.

One of the major demands of the members is action against the officer, he added.
