The Kurla police on Friday arrested 26 NCP workers, of them 19 women, in a rioting case after they created ruckus at the BMC’s L-ward office in Kurla. The arrested are all residents of the Kasaiwada area of Kurla (East), which has been witnessing acute water shortage for the past few days. The NCP workers not only manhandled the junior engineer at the ward office, but also damaged furniture.
