A stable owner and his associate have been arrested for treating a 13-year-old child-employee with cruelty at suburban Andheri, police said today.
According to police, Fazbuddin Sheikh, who owns a stable, and his associate, Yusuf Mohammed Qureshi, used to make young Anis Nawab Shiekh work for more than 12 hours a day at his stable.
Qureshi chained Anis and beat him up on Sunday, they said.
Anis has been sent to a remand home, police added.
