Nationalist Congress Party MLC Kiran Pawaskar on Monday revealed in the legislative council that more than 30 entry passes issued to Mumbai airport employees had gone missing and that they could be misused by anti-national or terrorist groups.
Pawaskar’s statement gains significance given the security threat to the World Cup final scheduled to take place in city on April 2. “Since the past few days, 30 such passes have gone missing. We have informed the local DCP Satyanarayan, but the state should take a serious note of the issue,” he said.
