MMCC principal Lawrence wins best teacher award

MD Lawrence, principal of Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce (MMCC), has been selected for the Best Teacher award by the department of higher and technical education of the state government.

The award, which will be conferred upon him on Teacher's Day, includes a prize of Rs10,000 and a citation.

The award will be given to Lawrence in recognition of his innovative teaching and research acumen.

He recently undertook a research project funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, in leadership styles and strategies of college principals towards re-accreditation of colleges by NAAC, Bangalore.

Lawrence has authored more than 25 books on marketing and business administration and has to his credit numerous research articles and research papers published in renowned national and international journals and research publications.
