The 17-year-old Akshay Rawal, who allegedly went missing from outside his Kalbadevi residence on January 25, has mysteriously returned home on Monday. While the teenaged boy claims to have been abducted by an unidentified person who took him to Nagpur, police say there are too many loose ends in Rawal's abduction story.

What's shocking is that Rawal allegedly woke up all locked-up in a room in far away Nagpur. According to him, it was only a few days ago that he regained consciousness and managed to escape the abductors to end up at the Nagpur station. Once there, he sought the help of some army officers, who brought him to Kalyan by Geetanjali Express.

Deputy commissioner of police (Zone II) Anil Kumbhare said, "Rawal left home to buy some cheese and stationery, when he met this unknown person. Surprisingly, this person asked him if there was a boy in the area who's been kidnapped? And, before he knew it, Rawal became unconscious."

As per Rawal, he regained consciousness a few days ago, in a dark room that would be visited by two unknown persons. "On Sunday, Rawal allegedly got a chance to flee to the railway station, where he learnt he was in Nagpur. There, he sought help from a few army jawans, who brought Rawal to Kalyan in Geetanjali Express. He was safely brought to his residence by the LT Marg police, added Kumbhare.
