MHT-CET application forms from March 19

The forms can be obtained and submitted at the respective junior colleges/high schools from March 19 to March 31.

Now that the HSC science examinations are over, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), the competent authority for combined exams, has announced the availability of application forms for the Common Entrance Test, MHT-CET-2012.
The forms can be obtained and submitted at the respective junior colleges/high schools from March 19 to March 31.

The exam is held for admission to all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2012-2013, and is scheduled for Thursday, May 10.

As per the DMER officials, a single application form with three brochures (Health Science, Engineering and Pharmacy) will cost Rs700 to open category candidates and Rs500 to reserved category candidates.

For domicile certificates and other details, the website of DMER and DTE can be checked. Students from outside state can obtain and submit the forms at divisional authorities (mostly the deans of government medical colleges and other authorised colleges in various districts).

The merit list of MHT-CET will be used for admission to govt/ municipal corp/ govt-aided colleges and unaided private colleges (who have given consent for participationin MHT-CET-2012) of Health Sciences degree courses. Domicile certificate rules remain same as in 2011.
