A 14-year-old girl committed suicide at her residence here today, police said.
Sunita Khairnaar, who was said to be mentally unstable, set herself on fire after pouring kerosene at her home in suburban Goregaon, they said.
The girl was alone at home when she took the extreme step, police said, adding she was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
