Water supply to the almost entire city would be cut off on Thursday due to power cut and repairs by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) at the water works.
The power supply to Parvati water works and Wadgaon water works would be cut off by Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MahaTransco) due to repairs and maintenance work. The PMC would also undertake repairs and maintenance work at both Parvati and Wadgaon water works on Thursday.
The power supply to Cantonment water works would be cut off by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MahaDiscom) for repairs on Thursday.
The PMC would undertake repairs of the main waterline from Pashan water works to Sus storage on Thursday.
Hence, water supply to almost all parts of the city would be cut off on Thursday. The water supply on Friday would be delayed and at low pressure.
