Slogan-shouting BJP-Shiv Sena MLAs today disrupted presentation of budget by state finance minister Ajit Pawar in the Maharashtra assembly.
Pawar, who is also the deputy chief minister, is presenting his maiden budget.
Sena-BJP members tried to stall the proceedings alleging that state government was sidelining them in appointments of heads of government committees such as Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana.
