Sangeeta Pawar, the 4-year-old who was abducted from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), will be handed over to her parents on Friday morning.
The CST railway court had initially ordered the Government Railway Police (GRP) to hand her over to her parents on Thursday, but since they are awaiting her medical test reports from JJ Hospital, they will be reunited on Friday morning instead.
The court also remanded her 25-year-old kidnapper Raju Kallu Gaur in police custody till July 18.
Surendra Deshmukh, senior inspector of CST, GRP, said, “She was brought back from Haridwar by a GRP team on Wednesday.” He added that they are yet to ascertain his motive behind the abduction.
