The women wing of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) today honoured Smita Salaskar, the widow of 26/11 Mumbai attack martyr Vijay Salaskar.
JITO gave Smita the Mahavir Shourya Sanman Award.
The award was given by MP Priya Dutt and Mumbai Mayor Shradha Jadhav at a programme of the JITO held here.
Mountaineer Santosh Yadav, the only woman in the world to have conquered Mount Everest twice was also honoured on the occasion.
