Actress Sambhavna Seth is the latest Bollywood actress to be at the receiving end of abusive SMSes and calls.
The Versova police, on Sunday, arrested Mehraj-ur-Rehman — Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanyata's ex-husband — for allegedly sending vulgar SMSes and making threatening calls to Sambhavna.
“Seth filed a complaint on November 21,” said a police officer. “Following investigations, we arrested Mehraj from Hyderabad and brought him to Mumbai on Saturday.”
Mehraj has in thepast has been accused of threatening actresses Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Kangana Ranaut, among others.
Recently, actress Minissha Lamba had also filed a non-cognisable complaint at the Versova police station after receiving a series of abusive calls and messages. Minissha's caller, the police said, was none other than Mehraj.
