With their wives participating in the Stayfree DNA I Can Women’s Half Marathon, the husbands got a chance to spend some quality time with their children.

In between cheering from the holding area, the children were taking full advantage of the special attention from their dads. Four-year-old Ahana gave her father a positive review. “Dad has been good and he is getting me everything I need,” she said, pointing to the snacks and cold drinks she had convinced him to buy, something her mother would not be very happy about.

For the husbands, the event gave them an opportunity to appreciate the hard work put in by their wives to take care of their families, sometimes disregarding their own health. Banker T Rohan, holding his two-year-old son in his arms, said, “My homemaker wife has been practicing a lot for the last few weeks. It’s good that she finally found the motivation to take her health into her own hands. I am thankful to DNA for that.”

Rohan mentioned he was going to make lunch when the family got home. “She needed a break from the routine,” he said thoughtfully.
