German Bakery blast: Doctor’s statement recorded

During the hearing of the German Bakery blast case on Saturday, the court recorded the statement of Dr Chetan Puram of Sancheti Hospital.

During the hearing of the German Bakery blast case on Saturday, the court recorded the statement of Dr Chetan Puram of Sancheti Hospital.

He gave evidence regarding treatment given to two victims, Tanaji Sherkhat (47) Kharadi and Mustaf Ahmed (46) of Srinagar, who were injured in the blast on February 13, 2010.

Special public prosecutor Raja Thakare examined the witness. The court adjourned hearing till January 21. The blast killed 17 people. Mirza Himayat Inayat Baig (30) is the only accused who has been arrested so far.
