Ex-staff rob businessman of cash, gold worth Rs40.6 lakh

The police on Wednesday launched a manhunt to nab two former employees of a gold manufacturing unit at Byculla.

On Monday night, six people, including ex-employees Raju and Ameet, barged into the gold manufacturing unit and threatened its owner Dilip Jain with a revolver.

The robbers then decamped with Rs60,000 cash and gold weighing 2.4 kg collectively worth Rs40.6 lakh.
