The Dindoshi police have arrested one person for allegedly killing a 20-year-old youth on Monday in Goregaon (East).
The deceased, Shabbir Khan, a resident of Santosh Nagar in Goregaon, had a fight with the brother of one of the accused, Gulzar, a month ago for allegedly eve-teasing his sister. Khan had allegedly beaten up Gulzar’s brother with the help of his friends.
“On Monday evening, Gulzar and his two friends, Javed and Wahid, stabbed Khan. Khan’s friend was also injured in the incident. Khan died of his wounds,” said the officer. “We have arrested Wahid Ali. The two others are still at large,” said police inspector S Chaudhary from Dindoshi police station.
