Engineering students across India join the Xavier’s tech fest

Engineering students from across India will showcase their talent at “Transmission,” a two-day technical fest of the Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE), a sister organisation to St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

“The fest’s title is meant to convey the idea that the purpose of XIE is to be on a mission of carrying over and transmitting to others what its student body, under its Jesuit ethos, discovers and invents during its loaded academic programme,” said the college authorities.

The festival will start on February 28, with a performance by Fictitious, a dance group from Nalasopara that won the third season of the talent show, India’s Got Talent. There will also be other performances, a freestyle football show, etc. Technical quizzes and innovative engineering projects will also be featured.
