An initiative by DNA with support from Zee 24 Tas, DNA Eduscope, the education and career fair will be organised at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi from May 7 to 8. DNA Eduscope will not bring top vocational and management institutes at the fair, but will also host career guidance seminars conducted by some of Mumbai’s leading professionals.
Dr RS Hande, director, Board of Colleges and University Development, University of Mumbai, will be the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of DNA Eduscope on May 7 at 10.30am. Sanjay Muthal, MD, Nugrid Consulting and Advisor, National HRD Network, Mumbai chapter, will be present as guest of honour on the occasion.
The first seminar of the fair will be held on ‘Necessity and importance of Career Planning for Students’ at 11.30am on May 7. It will be addressed by Prof RSS Mani, career mentor and management educator. The second seminar, at 2pm, will be on the topic ‘Importance of Managerial Skills in any career’ will be addressed by N Raghuraman, senior editor, DNA. Following this will be two seminars on ‘How to choose your career and How to increase your employability in the corporate sector’.
The seminars on the second day will be focused on careers in animation, hospitality, media and entertainment and travel and tourism.
