Coming down heavily on those indulging in the politics of regionalism, Shankaracharya of Dwarkapeeth today urged them to give up this tendency.
"Everyone in India can go any where in the country to live and earn a livelihood. It is a fundamental right which can not be denied," Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swaroopananda Saraswati told media.
"Those who indulge in the politics of regionalism need to be condemned by all sections of the society," he said. "Rather than providing employment to these people in their villages and cities, these elements are creating animosity," he said adding that we need to give up such tendency.
