Security was tightened at Bandra railway station and Bandra Terminus on Friday following a threatening phone call received at the cyber police station at Bandra-Kurla Complex. According to police, the caller threatened to blow up the station on Friday.

“The police station received a call around 10.35 am on Friday. The caller, who was speaking in Hindi, said he would blow up the Bandra railway station anytime on Friday. The caller then disconnected the call,” a police officer, attached to the railway police headquarters at Wadi Bunder, said, adding that the Anti-Terrorism Squad is investigating the case.

The cyber police station passed on the information to the city and railway police control rooms.
