Congress today steered clear of an order by a revenue court in Maharashtra directing that names of relatives of president Pratibha Patil, including her husband Devisingh Shekhawat, be deleted from ownership of a disputed piece of agricultural land in a village near Amravati.

"We have no information about it", AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi told reporters when asked to comment on the order.

The order by Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Ashok Amankar, in quasi-judicial authority, came on a petition by one Kishore Bansod, who had claimed that the Shekhawat clan had allegedly got their names included in the land title.
