ShareMUMBAI: In one of the largest drug hauls in the country, sleuths of the Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday seized 200 kg of cocaine worth Rs 800 million from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust area here.
Five people were detained for questioning.
"We have seized 200 kg of high grade cocaine from a vessel near the JNPT area following a tip off. Five people have been detained in this connection," an officer of the bureau said.
He refused to give details of the haul.
"Please contact us in the morning for the details as investigation are still on," he said.
