With the arrest of three persons from Navi Mumbai, the APMC police claimed to have solved the armed robbery at Borivli. The car used in the robbery was also seized.

Four persons had decamped with Rs1.8 lakh from an agency of a government bank at Vajira Naka in Borivli (West).

The police said on Friday, four robbers, aged between 25 and 30 years, came in a white Maruti Esteem car and decamped with the cash after threatening the staffers with dire consequences.

The police said the three persons were arrested in another robbery case. During their interrogation it was found out that one of the accused was involved in the Borivli armed robbery.
