The young corporate manager who was enjoying an intimate relationship with two women,  one of who was murdered — allegedly by the other — should be booked in the Pune love triangle case.

This is the plea of the sorrowing fathers of the murdered victim, Delhi lawyer Juhi Prasad and her alleged murderer, Bangalore-based fitness expert, Anushree Kundra.

Juhi’s father, AN Prasad, and Anushree’s father, Satish Kumar, have demanded that the police book the 27-year-old corporate manager, Nimesh Sinha, in the case. They are holding him responsible for ruining the lives of two young women and their families.

Last week, Anushree’s lawyers, Vaibhav Jathar and Tejraj Dafle, submitted a 12-page application before a city court stating that Anushree had been falsely implicated in the case. It states that it was Nimesh who had directed Anushree to buy 2 litres of petrol from Kedari fuel station.

“My daughter’s death is cold-blooded murder and Nimesh is equally responsible for her  death. I cannot digest the police investigation report that my daughter and Nimesh were sleeping on the same bed. Why then has Nimesh received just 10% injuries and my daughter 90% burns?” Prasad wondered while speaking to DNA recently.

He pointed out that even the murder accused, Anushree, was now claiming that Nimesh was involved in the crime.

“I have been saying this from the beginning, that Nimesh should be made a co-accused in this case,” Prasad said.

He said that after the tragic death of his daughter, not once did Nimesh or his family approach them or showed any interest in knowing what really happened on October 12-13, when the incident took place.

NImesh Sinha’s father said that his son was innocent and Anushree was trying to drag him into the case.

The extraordinary crime of passion came to light on October 13 when Juhi was admitted to a hospital with 90% burns and her fiance, Nimesh, with about 10% burns. According to the police, it was Anushree Kundra who sprinkled petrol and set fire to Juhi and her fiance Nimesh, who were sleeping in the bedroom of Nimesh’s rented flat in Wanavdi.

Police said that Kundra, who previously had a live-in relationship with Nimesh, had flown to Pune from Bangalore to sort out the matter with Juhi, who had also flown to Pune from Delhi for the same purpose.
