Two days after the blast at Zaveri Bazaar, mutilated body parts of a person, hanging from a rod coming out of the fourth floor of a nearby building, have been recovered.
"Some body parts were found on a rod outside the fourth floor of DD Plaza building which houses Mayur Jewellery shop. Fire brigade officials have removed the parts and sent them to hospital," Mumbai police spokesperson Nisar Tamboli said.
He said that body-parts must have been torn apart and thrown off due to the intensity of the blast.
At least 18 persons were killed and 131 others were injured in three blasts at Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House and Dadar on July 13.
