Black money must come back: Rahul Gandhi

Gandhi defended the Union Government saying that ‘it is wrong that the government is not making efforts to bring the black money back to India.’

Congress general secretary and MP Rahul Gandhi said that the black money deposited by Indians in the banks of foreign countries should be brought to India soon because that money is belongs to poor people of this country.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday at Aurangabad, he defended the Union Government saying that ‘it is wrong that the government is not making efforts to bring the black money back to India.’

He was in Aurangabad after a three-day tour of Vidarbha, Marathwada and North Maharashtra where he interacted with youths belongs to Dalit, Adivasi and Muslim communities.

Replying to a query about the brutal murder of the additional district collector of Malegaon Yeshwant Sonavane, Rahul Gandhi said “I shocked on hearing that Sonavane was burnt alive while trying to stop the corruption. I suggest the chief minister Prithviraj Chavan for stern action within six months, against the culprits involved in this incident’.

Gandhi called upon the youths of the country particularly Dalits and Muslims to join the NSUI and Youth Congress to set right the political system of the country.

“In the Panchayat elections in Punjab and Tripura where young people elected in majority. In Kerala Gram Panbchayat elections, the youths were given 50 per cent tickets,” said Gandhi.
