As a part of a nationwide agitation over black money, Maharashtra BJP has planned to organise public meetings in 14 cities of the state.

State BJP sources said the rallies would be held from June 23 to June 27.

"We plan to cover the entire state by August 15 with nearly 100 meetings," sources added.

Apart from the black money issue, the party will also highlight the various scams that took place during UPA regime and the `threat to democracy' it has posed.

Leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, and her counterpart in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, will address the meetings in Mumbai and Pune.

However, there was no information forthcoming on whether Gopinath Munde would address any of the rallies.

The cities where rallies will be held include Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Nashik, Aurangabad, Akola, Kolhapur and Jalgaon.
