Maharashtra's chief minister Ashok Chavan today agreed with the Shiv Sena's stand that the language in Rohinton Mistry's book Such A Long Journey is objectionable.
Appearing on a talk show on NDTV, Chavan admitted that he had not read the entire book but only portions of it, and that he found the language "highly objectionable".
Chavan said he felt such texts were unsuitable for inclusion in educational curricula.
