Samad Samsher Khan, arrested from Manmad railway station on Tuesday night, has told Anti-terrorism Squad (ATS) that Zabiuddin Ansari could have fled Bangladesh for Pakistan. LeT terrorist Zabiuddin alias Zabby is the key conspirator and prime accused in the Aurangabad arms haul case.

Joint Commissioner of Police and ATS chief KP Raghuvanshi said, "Shamsher has told us that he met Zabiuddin in Bangladesh and that the latter was planning to shift base to Pakistan."

Sources said Samsher has also confirmed Zabby's strong links with Pakistan's ISI and a few of its Nepal-based agents. Investigators also confirmed that one Izaz had accompanied Zabiuddin when they visited the MLA Hostel at Nariman Point on May 10 morning.
