The renowned social activist and Right to Information (RTI) crusader will launch the ‘India Against Corruption (IAC) movement’ on April 5.

Renowned social activist and Right to Information (RTI) crusader, Anna Hazare, will launch the ‘India Against Corruption (IAC) movement’ on April 5. He will also embark on an indefinite fast to demand that the government introduce the Jan Lokpal bill as per the recommendations given to prime minister Manmohan Singh by his IAC group.
An IAC movement activist, BB Soman, has urged people to join the signature campaign starting on April 3. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, he said, “Not all can be present physically to show their support, which is why we are holding a signature campaign on April 3, at Kamala Arcade, opposite Balgandharva from 9 am.”
Citizen-activist Vivek Velankar of Sajag Nagrik Manch said, “There has to be a strong fight against corruption and this is a step towards it.” The IAC is supported by Professionals Party of India; Parivartan, Pune; Dnyan-Setu, Pune; Sajag Nagrik Manch, Pune; Art of Living, Pune; and Bhrashtachar Virodhi Janandolan Nyaas, Ralegan Siddhi.
