Amravati: Every child in Melghat, known for malnutrition deaths, should be checked regularly and
provided with all necessary medical facilities, Collector Richa Bagla said.

She was addressing a meeting of senior health officials and anganwadi employees here yesterday. The meeting was organised to discuss reasons behind child health problems in tribal-dominated Melghat and to take appropriate measures.

Bagla reviewed the various schemes implemented by health and revenue departments for tackling health and malnutrition problems.
