Amitabh, Sachin to pay more stamp duty

Celebs like Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar will be hit with the proposed increase in stamp duty on endorsements.

The government believes there is rampant evasion of this duty since registration of such agreements is not compulsory.

Last year, the government earned Rs1.50 cr from such deeds.
