A hazy evening in Mumbai

Mumbai experienced haze on Wednesday, after a cold night.

Though the haze was visible from early morning, it has become denser by evening.

Met department officials told DNA that the dust from the storms around Rajasthan over the past two days reached the city via Gujarat.

They said this is an uncommon and isolated phenomenon.

Flight and train services, however, have not been affected so far.

Mumbai has had an unusual March in terms of weather, with record night time low temperatures for the month, and record high temperatures during the day.

The weather has also been blamed for a host of health problems.
