5-year-old boy’s body recovered in Pune

Smit Rahul Shiva (5), who was missing since Monday, was found dead on Friday morning from a pond behind the Someshwar temple at Someshwarwadi in Pashan. He was the only child of his parents.

The victim’s father, who is a real estate agent and resident of Murkute Vasti in Baner, had lodged a complaint with the Chatuhshrungi police station. Smit had gone to the temple with his grandmother, uncle and cousin, but disappeared from it premises.
